The fabric used to make this pillow is authentic vintage Baule cloth hand woven in The Ivory Coast. The cloth is made by weaving long patterned strips, the strips are then sewn together lengthwise to create the overall pattern.
Because these pillows are made from vintage hand made fabrics, there will be slight imperfections and inconsistencies; this is part of what makes these pillows so special and one-of-a-kind. Each pillow may vary slightly in pattern from the pillow pictured, as they are cut from different sections of the same cloth. We try to photograph any major differences.
