Our bolga baskets are handmade in farming villages in the Bolgatanga region of northern Ghana, and are perhaps the best known of all African baskets.
They are woven from durable elephant grass Each purchase helps provide the farmers and weavers in the region with a sustainable way of living. We love seeing our designs come to life through the skill of our artisans.

Care: If basket gets out of shape submerge in water and re-shape as needed. Trim off any stray grass with scissors.
I am extremely disappointed in this product. It arrived and the brand tag is falling off and the basket is all banged up and lopsided. It looks horrible. It is definitely no 43 dollar basket. The paint is missing from a few spots too. We got it for Easter for my son and now I will have to go find something else.
